The weekend that was ...

It's Friday and a new and amazing weekend awaits yet again, I'm sure!  Ohh how I just love February. It is quite literally my month... If you don't already know, a lot of special occassions in my life are all happening this month of "love".  I have so many stories to tell ( I haven't even begun with our US trip) but I will leave you bits of the blissful weekend that was...

Went for a quick trip to Cebu to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary =)

Happy Hour

Sutukil, CNT Lechon, Zuchon, Lechon Bread, Bacon
DIET. SCHMIET. I finally got to taste authentic Cebu lechon. Oh wow. Where do I begin? That glistening crackling skin had me at hello... and the meat... oh the meat was tender, sapid and just absolutely wonderful! Now I get it why you don't eat cebu lechon with sarsa (liver sauce), because it's so good, you won't even think about it, all you need is lots of rice! haha. Makes me salivate just by looking at my photos now... and the bacon...well, sorry I just couldn't resist squeezing in my favorite thing in the world.. I guiltlessly gave in when I saw it on the buffet... it was calling me... yeah, I'm much too weak for bacon...

One of the best meals I've ever had. Enough said.

7 Course Dinner by K.Cunanan

Our wedding caterer, K.Cunanan invited us to a Thanksgiving dinner (Post Valentine's) party at the Fort. Since we just stayed home on heart's day, we decided to attend the party, and I'm so glad that we did because the dinner was surely a lovely treat. What more can I ask for? Another perfectly good night spent with my dashing date.

That's how we spent our 1st wedding anniversary. I will leave you with a video of our wedding because I want to share some looove =)

Tao Yuan

If you're looking for a good, no-fail restaurant where you could take your family to, this is the place to go to...seriously!

Prawn Spring Rolls

Hainanese Chicken
Tao Yuan's version was also good when it comes to taste but I find the chicken quite chewy. I am still a Wee Nam Kee fan. =)

Chicken Rice

Only the best Chili Crabs ever!
The Piece de resistance , this is exactly how i remember it when I first had it in Singapore. The best!

Deep- fried buns

I could eat a whole bunch of these deep fried buns in one sitting! So addictive!
