Tamagoya Noodle House

My husband and I have been pretty busy sourcing out furniture and stuff for our new home, and after going through sh*tload of heavy traffic, we were famished and a bit lost somewhere in Marcos Highway. Good thing I remembered reading about this supposedly good ramen place in Antipolo. Oh and Thank God for google maps! It always comes in handy at times like these, we were able to navigate our way to this far place called Tamagoya Noodle House.

Tamagoya Noodle House is a small two-storey restaurant beside a car repair shop. I find the place really cozy and feels somewhat authentic, as it reminds me of those ramen joints we've gone to in Osaka.

That's the menu right there on the wall.

Stamina Ramen
2011 is the year of Milk Teas and Ramen. They seem to have popped up just about anywhere. I'm not a fan of milk tea. But my husband has a love affair with ramen so we are always on the look out for places that serve good ones.

Tamagoya's is certainly worthy of a visit. Their servings are huge. But if you're really hungry (like we were), you definitely must have the big delicious bowl all to yourself! A huge bowl of flavorful broth, ample amount of vegetables and tender pork slices, all for just P168! Winner! =)

Miso Ramen

Gyoza

Tamagoya Noodle House is definitely a must-try! Heck, we've gone back twice already. Food is quite good and authentic and relatively cheap!  If you're one of those who savors a good bowl of ramen or rice topping, then Tamagoya might just be well-worth your trip =)

Our American Burger Quest

Sharing with you our quest for the "ultimate burger" in America. We have tried In-N-Out (a classic crowd favorite), Shake Shack, Bobby Flay's Burger Palace, and Five Guys. Sadly though, we have been inconclusive in our pursuit as everything was OH.SO.GOOD in it's own special greasy way. I don't think I can give you an answer as to which burger is the best, they all have their own star qualities that make their taste and flavor distinct. I don't know about you but, I would have any of these burgers any time of day. Enjoy!

IN-N-OUT

I don't know why, but it seems I'm the only one who loves in-n-out's french fries.

SHAKE SHACK

MADISON SQUARE PARK BRANCH

Even if it was freezing outside, we simply had to have our first Shake Shack experience at this branch. (where some movies and tv series' scenes were filmed)

Luckily, there were no long cues

What a lovely sight! (It was my first time to see squirrels in person)
